Clinics

The Mane Event is proud of the past and present clinicians that provide the education part of the expo. Our goal is to provide clinics in as many different disciplines as we can with the highest level of education possible. Clinicians will cover not only English & Western but Jumping, Dressage, Reining, Driving, Competitive Trail just to mention a few. We also provide Parelli, Lyons, TTeam and independent trainers the opportunity to educate with their perspective programs, and last but not least we also have specialty clinicians for Mule & Donkey, Gaited Horses and more.

Trainers Challenge

For the horse owners that have an interest in starting or just watching someone start a colt we have the ever-popular "Trainers Challenge" as well. 3 - Trainers, 3 - Horses and 3 - Judges. This special event at the expo provides the spectator the opportunity to view 3 different methods of training to achieve the same result… a quiet broke horse to enjoy for years to come. Keeping in mind that these horses have just started their training to become that broke horse. The trainers are progressing far quicker than they normally would always keeping the horses best interest at heart. The judging at this challenge is based 10% on the horse, 60% on the trainer's ability to train the horse and 30% on the trainer's ability to educate the attendees. So the trainer that gets his/her horse to do the most or does a better presentation at the finals won't necessarily win. The winner of the challenge will be the trainer that can achieve the highest success with both the horse & the Spectators.

Demos

On the Demo stage there will be demos and presentations from Veterinarians, English & Western Saddle Fitting, Feed & Supplements, Riding Associations and much more.

To make sure that everyone has fun at The Mane Event we have our "Saturday Night Equine Experience". This is when everyone can sit back, relax and just enjoy the show. We have special presentations and demos from Drill teams, Breeds, Driving, Dressage, Reining and fun for everyone. The Equine Experience is included in Saturday's admission.
